Wow, I'm still receiving visits

Wow, this blog still receives visits even though I don't update it so often and I think I need to start providing more contents to this blog. I'm very thankful that my link building continues to support this site.

To anyone that is currently reading this, I will make this blog to a somewhat ranting / news / tech / editorial of some kind. Far from the original plan to make this a tech blog, I will share to you all the things that I want to blab about with technology, current events, interesting stuff, current things about myself and everything that can be found on earth.

Please try to look forward to my next post about my opinion about the current state of the Philippines, it will be in tagalog, english and taglish so that I can convey my message better. Well, see you on my next post. Thank you and have a nice day.

iBlog: The blogging summit in the Philippines

Ok , I just decided to create a blog post right now because I want to rest for a bit from work(freelance jon, still graduating on May). Well, right now. I just viewed the website of iBlog and I just out the blue wanted to make post about it. 

So what is iBlog. For me, it is a tradition here in the Philippines to inform the publlic who are interested in blogging and for people who are already blogging and wants to increase their knowledge about blogging. The even tackles about different sectors on blogging. There are blogs that is more focused with PR works, it means that they promote certain companies and products that need to promote to the public and there are some blogs that is focused on networking with different readers and bloggers

Fisrst post for the year 2012

Well I don't know how did you get here but I know for a fact that I don't have a topic to write. I'm thinking about writing a post about Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao or about the Palawan Islet but I don't have the energy and the will to write a long and interesting post about them. Right now, I am just taking a break from my studies and just want to write anything. To make this article to be more interesting to read. I suppose I can share the things that I'm planning to do next week.

First, As you can see, my blog is now different than before. I am planning to change the look of this website for months and now that I have some extra time.

Page rank is it really good or not

For webmasters, page rank is very important when it comes to optimizing their website but does page rank really a factor when it comes to landing on the first page in search engines? For me, it is not. Yeah maybe it has relevance but it does't mean that page rank has the most favored part when it comes to determining if a site is good to be at the first page of the search engines.

There are some sites that has high page ranks but doesn't get a high traffic or click rate. Because even if you are already ranked. Google and other search engines out there is still computes the relevance of your posts/articles to the key words that a person is searching.

For me, doing SEO (search engine optimization) without considering or putting page rank in the equation is much better that doing SEO for increasing you page rank. Here is the simple equation of to make your articles/posts/sites to be in the first page and give some traffic to it.

RELEVANCE + SEO + HARDWORK = RESULTS

I'm still experimenting with my blogs but I'm seeing some results and to tell you the truth. Results may show after some time. You need to be patient to see some results.
