It is more than 1 week already when I first tried to install this operating system on my computer. It has some bugs to work around and to let it run and operate successfully. I registered to ubuntu forums just to post my problem. And my prayers had been granted, there is this one guy that posted on my query. He said that I must try to set a certain code in the grub of the operating system just to bypass the thing that causes the bug or lets just say the problem.
To make it clear, the problem that I am experience with my desktop is that, when I try to install my Ubuntu on my desktop. It always crashes or stop working in the middle of the installation. So I tried the different installation types. The one that had successfully installed the OS is the ACPI workaround type of installation.
That is the first problem and I just solved it myself but the one that had taken me so much of my time is to run it and finish it to boot because it always crashes or not respond of some sort.
So now, I made a post concerning about my problem. After some exchange of reasoning and ideas with some fellow ubuntu users. I have found a way to fix my problem and that is to put acpi=off and apic=verbose to the boot sequence to bypass the problem that causes the crash and the nonresponding of my desktop.
I suggest to use Ubuntu of its uniqueness and it security.
